Designer Ross Lovegrove is renowned for embracing emerging technology and materials and this is clearly demonstrated in the M.O.O.T (Mood of Our Time) Carbon Fiber Chair designed and developed in partnership with Established & Sons. This collaboration opens the door for further cutting edge projects that will test the limits of this high strength material.

Through this display Ross Lovegrove will demonstrate the diverse characteristics of carbon fibre, showcasing carbon projects created over the last decade with special attention to the M.O.O.T Chair which converges structural integrity, lightness and advanced state of the art surface qualities which can be achieved today. This unique chair will be displayed in the Design Museum Atrium alongside documents revealing an insight into the design process and the technical development that went into realizing the chair.

This free display will be on throughout the London Design Festival.
