After recently acquiring 51% of the shares, Offecct AB is now a majority shareholder in the company Möbeldesign i Tibro AB.
Möbeldesign was founded in 1985 and has over the years developed into a much sought after producer of upholstered furniture, and gained great reputation for their craftsmanship and high level of flexibility. Among its customers many of the leading interior companies in the Nordic region can be found, as well as numerous design producers with furniture for public as well as domestic space.
Möbeldesign has for some time manufactured parts of Offeccts vast design collection and through this merger, both companies will be able to grow faster and deepen its knowledge in Swedish upholstered furniture production.
Möbeldesign has recently made investments in new technology which will increase the flexibility and quality of the production even further, foremost in
the cutting and sewing of textiles and the handling of leather.
“Through this merger, we can increase our production capacity and still maintain the high level of flexibility that is increasingly being demanded by interior projects”, says Offecct CEO, Kurt Tingdal.

The former management of Möbeldesign i Tibro AB will continue to be a shareholder in the company together with Offecct AB.
